Meet Tim Enarson of Navigator Taproom in Logan Square

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tim Enarson.

Tim, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My business partner and I started out 2.5 years ago wanting to start a brewery. Due to the high capital needed to start a brewery, we started looking for other ways to break into the craft beer industry. Then we came across the concept of Self-Serve beer walls and it clicked that this was what we wanted to bring to Chicago. We began the process and now we have been open 3 months.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We experienced it being anything but smooth. But the adversity and setbacks we experienced actually enhanced our experience and we learned more from it than if it was just smooth sailing.

Please tell us about Navigator Taproom.
Navigator Taproom is a self-pour tasting room where we have 48 taps of beer and wine on draft where the customer has the power to pour their own beer or wine.
